I am Dr Maria O’Neill and founder of Illuminate. I specialise in Autism and ADHD conditions and have a range of experience with both adults and children. 
‘Illuminate’ felt like an obvious choice for the practice name as it captures exactly the sentiment that I feel passionate about. It means to ‘light up’ and ‘make visible’ and I am committed to supporting individuals in understanding their neurodiversity and embracing difference.
A fingerprint is something that is completely unique to every individual. Illuminate recognises that each neurodiverse person is completely unique!
The visual of a fingerprint also mirrors a maze. Understanding your autism and/or ADHD can be a complex process and it can take time and effort to navigate your way to understanding your strengths and challenges.
My vision is that Illuminate is a service that will guide you through the difficult times (the maze) and work towards treatments and support that is tailored completely to you.
